Meet the Management Team
Matthew Lescault – President & CEO
Matt Founded Lescault & Walderman in 2006 to provide Financial Services to small businesses. Matt is responsible for the strategic direction and overall operations of the organization.
Since it’s inception the organization has grown from a simple, very small, business to a enterprise-level service provider with multiple and diverse business offerings from Technical to Financial Services.
Matt’s broad experience in this market has been the driving factor in the rapid growth and subsequent launch of several new, niche, services which has changed a small financial services company in to a full-service firm.
Matt’s experience is derived from several years of operations, finance, and budget management with the Federal Government as well as several commercial companies from construction to staffing.
Joseph Frank – Director of Controller & Bookkeeping Services
Joseph Frank is the Director of Controller and Bookkeeping Services. He joined the firm within a year of its inception and has been instrumental in helping to define the overall processes of his department.
Joseph has over 10 years of experience working with Law Firms, Professional Services, Construction, Non-Profit, and Real Estate Development, managing more than 100 different clients’ during his tenure with LWI.
Joseph graduated from the University of Maryland University College with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Outside of the office, Joseph’s interest include traveling and filmmaking. He directed and produced an award winning doc-fiction film which premiered at the SXSW Film Festival.
Jay Fridkis – Director of Intacct Services
Jay is the Director of Intacct Services at Lescault & Walderman. Jay is responsible for all installations of Intacct software for our clients in both the non-profit and for-profit space. In this role, Jay oversees teams that plan and manage the transition to Intacct software, data migration services, and the firms Intacct client services group (accountants and bookkeepers). Jay is the firm’s primary contact with Intacct for all support services; he possesses current certifications as an Intacct Accounting Specialist and Intacct Implementation Specialist.
Jay has over 30 years of experience working with and implementing Accounting and ERP software, including various Microsoft, Sage and Oracle products. Jay earned a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree from MIT.
Away from the office, Jay has been active for many years in the Baltimore-Washington region’s entrepreneurial and technology community, and serves or has served on the boards of several organizations in and around Howard County, MD. He has also served for several years as a certified tax preparer under the IRS’ community volunteer income tax assistance program. He is an avid motorcyclist, certified ski instructor, cook, and reader of mystery novels.
Kenneth Jayne – Director of CFO Startup Services
Kenneth is the Director of CFO Services at Lescault & Walderman, with his focus on providing high-level financial services to our clients. His hands-on experience as a CFO allows Kenneth to offer real-life solutions to our clients in every aspect of their financial operations.
The financial services Kenneth provides include financial reporting, profitability enhancement, strategic planning, budget development, cash flow management, tax planning and any special financial services our clients request.
Kenneth was a CFO for 15 years and prior to that, worked for a Big 4 accounting firm for another 15 years. He has a BS Degree in Accounting and an MBA from The Ohio State University.
